A log of this herb butter and a basket of bread makes a thoughtful housewarming gift. Or, keep it in your fridge for a delicious spread to enjoy anytime on toast or rolls.

Yield: ½ cup.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup (1 stick) salted butter, softened
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Instructions

Cream the butter in a small bowl until smooth. Stir in the rosemary. Add the honey and stir until partially mixed. Spoon the butter onto wax paper and roll into a log, twisting the ends like a peppermint wrapper. Chill until firm.

  1. The Rosemary-honey butter is awesome. Have used Rosemary sprigs on roast pork for years but just now tried this. Adds a marvelous flavor to hot homemade bisquits. Simple as can be to make and adds such a wonderful flavor to butter. We did like it better with two tablespoons honey.
