This popular beefsteak-sized, Amish heirloom produces rosy pink tomatoes loaded with old-fashioned tomato taste that has been prized for decades. It is considered one of the benchmarks for intense tomato flavor. The indeterminate vines yield tomatoes that ripen gradually until frost. Plants have "potato leaf" foliage. The tangy taste of Brandywine is a gourmet cook's delight. Space 24 to 36 inches apart.
