Red cabbage is a beautiful form of one of the oldest-known vegetables. Flavor is like that of green cabbage. Excellent boiled or stir-fried. Add red cabbage for color in salads and other dishes, but be aware that the color turns a faded purple as the cabbage is cooked. Space 24 inches apart in rows 30 inches apart.
