Last year was the first year I grew kale. It was a pleasant surprise. I put out 4 plants (can\'t remember what happened to the one) but harvested all summer from the remaining 3. It is Feburary in Kansas, and I just harvested the last of the kale. it has been snowed on, rained on, and even some high 60 degree days but it has hung in there.
I took a kale and potato soup to work and everyone loved it , even most did not know what kale was. Out out of my summer and fall harvest I gave quite a bit of it away. This was definitely a good plant to purchase.
But then again, I have never been disappointed with any Bonnie plants. (Posted on 2/9/12)
