White Sweet Spanish is a long-day type best suited to Northern regions but grown as a fall onion in the South. Spanish onions are easy to peel and have a mild taste that cooks love. Set transplants 6 inches apart in rows 12 inches apart, planting 1 to 2 inches deep. Use White Sweet Spanish onions for sautéing and grilling.
