Hot Banana Pepper
- Fruit size: 6 inches
- Matures: 75 days
- Scoville heat units: 5,000 to 10,000 (medium)
Profuse bearer of 6-inch-long, mildly hot peppers. Excellent for pickling, frying, or roasting. Just hot enough to provide a little bite without scaring away the milder palates in the family. Produce well even in hot weather. Fruit matures from light yellow to orange to red. Mark these as different from the sweet banana peppers in your garden. Space plants 18 inches apart in rows 30 inches apart.
