4 x 4-foot Tea Garden

Tags: ,

Relax with a mug of hot tea brewed from freshly picked herbs grown in your very own container garden. Place it near your kitchen door and you can literally harvest tea ingredients while the water boils. (How’s that for fresh?!) All you need are four containers (sizes indicate pot diameters): one 24”, two 18”, and one 14”. Just follow the planting plan below, and don’t hesitate to mix things up a bit if you prefer, say, one kind of mint over the others. Also, be sure to plant mint in smaller pots before adding them to the larger containers, as mint loves to spreadand could easily take over the whole pot.

Consider placing your 4 x 4 Tea Garden near your kitchen door if you can, so you’ll be able to pick ingredients to brew whenever you feel the urge. For excellent results, fill containers with premium quality raised bed soil, such as 100 percent organic Miracle-Gro® Raised Bed Soil (it’s the ideal weight and texture for raised bed growing), and feed plants regularly with nutrient-filled Miracle-Gro® Pour & Feed® Singles. What’s more, be sure to fill your Tea Garden with strong, vigorous young Bonnie Plants®, from a company that’s been helping home gardeners succeed for over a century.
